I grew up in England and then Singapore as an expat, with my Australian and German parents. I’m a ‘Third Culture Kid’ because I wasn’t born in, nor did I grow up in the countries that my parents are from. The question ‘where are you from’ is something I’m still trying to figure out.
Creative pursuits – especially writing stories, photography and drawing – has always been a part of my life. It’s something of a constant. My family spent a lot of time in jungles when we were in South East Asia, and I’m sure this is where my love of drawing flowers, leaves and birds came from.
At the moment I’m on a journey to bring creativity into my life again, and I wanted to document some of my thoughts and the things I learn along the way.
